Cold drink beverages are served in 5 ounce up to 64 ounce cups, and the thermoformed lids are used with plastic, paper and foam cups. The diversity of hot drink lid designs includes flat, raised and two-piece configurations. Other common thermoformed plastic packaging products include picnic plates and bowls, soufflé (portion) cups and the lids for condiments, dressings, and thermoformed take-out fast food containers in a variety of sizes and configurations. A wide variety of businesses take advantage of the convenience and flexibility of thermoformed plastic packaging for pre-packaged lunches and dinners. Hospitals, schools and other institutions also use thermoformed disposable dinnerware for their everyday needs.
Disposable packaging is produced on Brown continuous thermoformers, trim presses, lip rollers and tooling in available arrays up to 64” x 64” from a multitude of materials such as polypropylene, APET, OPS, PLA, HIPS, polystyrene foam and other specialty materials. Configurations include production from roll stock, in-line extrusion and hot-sheet applications with either rule/forge die or match metal trim. |
