Brown Machine manufactures thermoforming equipment for a wide variety of horticulture containers and trays. Producers of round pots, square pots, seedling trays, carrier trays, inserts, and up to five (5) gallon nursery containers, to name just a few, have chosen thermoforming as the technology of choice. With these items and several other applications, the injection molding process just can’t match the high-speeds and cost-effective benefits of thermoforming.

Horticultural products are produced using Brown Machine continuous thermoforming machines, trim presses, lip rollers and tooling in arrays available up to 64” x 64” from polypropylene, APET, RPET, HDPE, and HIPS. Configurations include production from roll stock, in-line extrusion and hot-sheet applications with either rule/forge die or match metal trim.
Larger pots requiring greater depth and thicker material gauges are produced with Brown Machine's shuttle and rotary cut sheet thermoforming machines.
